Getting along

Our biggest fear when bringing a new foster into our house is "will they get along?" We introduce the dogs very carefully just to make sure there are no fights or scuffles. When we first brought Cupcake home, we walked her individually with all of the dogs. Nothing long, just a stroll around the block so they got to know each other and also so they could learn/be reminded who the pack leaders are.
We then separated the dogs with a baby gate so they could get acquainted with each other from a distance. Usually that lasts a day or two but with Cupcake, it lasted about half an hour. She seemed to fit in easily from the beginning.
Here are Cupcake and Colt being sweet after running around outside together!
Still have a little energy for playing!!!
Cupcake is so excited she is blurry!

She and Colt loves to wrestle, she and Emma love to run in the yard and she and Daisy like to give each other their space. Daisy is an older dog who prefers to be left alone and all the dogs respect her space.
